Recently, according to the Jiangxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission website, in August 2025, the average prices of 65 essential consumer goods under monitoring in Jiangxi showed 32 increases, 27 decreases, and 6 remained stable month-on-month. Among industrial production materials, tungsten concentrate prices were predominantly rising, rare earth prices saw a slight overall decline, steel prices increased, cement prices decreased, sand and gravel prices slightly declined, copper prices saw a slight drop, and gasoline prices also slightly decreased.
Regarding tungsten concentrate prices in Jiangxi, the average sales price of tungsten concentrate in Ganzhou was 194,000 yuan per ton in August, increased by 11.49% month-on-month and increased by 44.78% year-on-year.
In August 2025, the China tungsten market continued its strong upward trend from the previous high base. The average price of 65% black tungsten concentrate was 211,400 yuan per ton, increased by 16.60% month-on-month and increased by 55.44% year-on-year, with a 29.23% rise from the beginning to the end of the month. The average price of 65% white tungsten concentrate was 210,400 yuan per ton, increased by 16.69% month-on-month and increased by 55.85% year-on-year, with a 29.38% rise from the beginning to the end of the month.
Regarding rare earth prices in Jiangxi, the average sales prices of high-yttrium oxide (rare earth) and medium-yttrium europium oxide (rare earth) in Ganzhou were 205,000 yuan per ton and 188,000 yuan per ton, respectively, in August, decreased by 4.21% and slightly decreased by 1.05% month-on-month, respectively, and increased by 6.77% and 15.34% year-on-year, respectively.
In August 2025, the average prices of most rare earth products in China increased both month-on-month and year-on-year. The average price of praseodymium oxide was 588,476 yuan per ton, increased by 19.71% month-on-month and increased by 51.03% year-on-year; the average price of neodymium oxide was 583,667 yuan per ton, increased by 21.30% month-on-month and increased by 49.80% year-on-year; the average price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide was 570,095 yuan per ton, increased by 19.58% month-on-month and increased by 48.23% year-on-year; the average price of praseodymium-neodymium metal was 697,238 yuan per ton, increased by 19.71% month-on-month and increased by 46.16% year-on-year; the average price of terbium oxide was 7,073 yuan per kilogram, decreased by 1.09% month-on-month and increased by 32.01% year-on-year; the average price of dysprosium oxide was 1,633,810 yuan per ton, decreased by 1.86% month-on-month and decreased by 6.76% year-on-year; and the average price of dysprosium-iron alloy was 1,591,429 yuan per ton, decreased by 1.02% month-on-month and decreased by 7.84% year-on-year.
