European FeMo MoO3 Prices Come Down Buying Interest Fades
Ferro-molybdenum (FeMo) and molybdic oxide (MoO3) prices in Europe showed signs of losing strength on Wednesday November 4, as the rally seen in recent days appeared to have run out of steam.
Metal Bulletin’s ferro-molybdenum quotation lost 40 cents on the top end, dropping to $12.50-12.80 per kg, while molybdic oxide prices fell 10 cents on either end, to $4.70-5 per lb. Market participants said buying interest had slowed, which has helped to ease the rate of decline in prices.
