中國(guó)が１日午前、大規(guī)模な建國(guó)６０周年記念軍事パレードを開(kāi)催する。この日午前１０時(shí)、北京天安門(mén)広場(chǎng)に軍統(tǒng)帥権者の胡錦濤國(guó)家主席兼黨総書(shū)記兼黨および國(guó)家中央軍事委主席が現(xiàn)れ、パレードが始まる。
人民服形態(tài)の軍服を著た胡主席は３００萬(wàn)元（約４０００萬(wàn)円）のオープンカー「紅旗」に搭乗し、陸軍・第２砲兵隊(duì)・武裝警察・海軍・空軍などの順序で、５６の少數(shù)民族を象徴する５６部隊(duì)・８００人の兵力を査閲する。
ここには大陸間弾道核ミサイルを含む１０８基のミサイルとタンク・戦車・大砲など最新武器が並ぶ。このうち５２種の武器は今回新しく登場(chǎng)するものだ。核弾頭３つを搭載できる射程距離１萬(wàn)１０００キロの新型大陸間弾道ミサイル（ＩＣＢＭ）東風(fēng)３１Ａなど、１３種の戦略武器が特に目を引く新武器だ。
この日のパレードのピークは約１００機(jī)の先端戦闘機(jī)が２５０－６００メートルの高度で天安門(mén)上空を東から西に低空飛行する行事。戦闘機(jī)がお互い２０－３０メートルの間隔を維持したまま飛行する‘史上最大の空中ショー’だ。
戦闘機(jī)は過(guò)去初めて武器を搭載した狀態(tài)で閲兵式に登場(chǎng)する。いかなる狀況でも直ちに戦闘に投入できるという點(diǎn)を誇示するためだ。
行事が終わった後、人民大會(huì)堂では５萬(wàn)７０００人が參加した中、祝賀花火が打ち上げられる予定だ。
この日の軍事パレードは１０年ぶりとなる。新華社通信と中央放送（ＣＣＴＶ）など中國(guó)官営メディアは「軍事パレードは國(guó)防現(xiàn)代化の成果を國(guó)內(nèi)外に誇示する舞臺(tái)になるだろう」と伝えている。中國(guó)が世界超強(qiáng)大國(guó)入りしたことを公開(kāi)的に示すパレードということだ。
